NEW: RRU Learning Symposium Opportunity

Following the General Information Session, please join Royal Roads University’s faculty and graduates for a dynamic symposium, “Preparing the Next Generation of Leaders: The Emerging Organizational Landscape with Generation Y at the Helm”. This session will explore how organizations are preparing for the next generation of leaders, Generation Y, who are considered by some to be the solution to the leadership gap.

Presented by: Dr. Carolin Rekar Munro, CHRP, CTDP. Royal Roads University Faculty of Management

Dr. Carolin Rekar Munro, CHRP, CTDP, is Associate Professor in the Faculty of Management at Royal Roads University, Victoria, B.C. serving as intellectual lead for Leadership and Human Resources Management. Carolin has held senior HR positions in the private and public sectors accountable for strategic planning and implementation; labour relations, including collective bargaining for both management and union; change management; compensation restructuring; enhancing staff engagement and wellness; developing succession planning initiatives; and championing initiatives to enhance multi-generational collaborations. Her published work includes developing and sustaining high performance teams; ROI from training initiatives; leadership models for transitioning teams to interdependence; wellness management; and mentoring Generation Y. Carolin’s textbook on “Human Resources Management” is due for publication this year.
